Photo Exhibition
Wings Over Miami Air Museum
Wings Over Miami Air Museum invites photographers to snap some shots of aircraft and share their favorites with the world on May 25th during the Memorial Day Event. The rules are fairly simple. We want this event to be a fun way to share aviation as an art form!

The Rules
1. All photos must be the original works of the submitter. They may be previously taken or recently created. The photos must be aircraft from Wings Over Miami or our sponsors on Kendall-Tamiami Executive Airport.
2. Each photographer may submit 2 works. DEADLINE: May 19th by 5:00 PM
3. All work must be 8 x 10 in size, matted to 11 x 14 using a standard white mat, and mounted on foam board or similar backing material. Additionally, a high resolution jpeg file submitted via email or disk is required. Email to: suzeq@bellsouth.net
4. The photos may be full color, black & white, or whatever color suits the photographer’s fancy.
5. The photographer’s signature, name, email, and contact phone must be back of each submission. The front of each photo mat will be numbered after receipt to facilitate judging.
6. The photos will be judged by the event attendees and a Festival Favorite will be announced on the museum’s website. The top 12 winners and the Festival Favorite will be included (with photo credit) in a 2014 Wings Over Miami Calendar. The Festival Favorite photograph winner will receive an annual family pass to the museum.
7. The entries become the property of Wings Over Miami Museum, Inc. and will remain on display for a period of a month and may be used to support or promote the museum following that time. Photographers will retain all other rights to their images.
8. Photographers are invited to visit the museum on May 5th – 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and May 11th – 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM. Depending on the weather, the museum will make an effort to move several planes outside for additional photo accessibility. However, there is no guarantee which planes will be out, if any. You may also call the front desk at 305 233-5197 to check if any of the planes will be flying, to enable to you get action shots from our ramp.
9. At no time, will any aircraft be climbed on, leaned on, or touched. You must be escorted by museum personnel to be inside the display area ropes. Any violation of these conditions will result in disqualification from the exhibit and you will be asked to leave the museum. Our planes fly regularly, and it can become a life-safety issue for the pilots when their planes are handled by untrained personnel.
This event is sponsored by Miami-Dade County Mayor and Board of County Commissioners.
